Interwoven Death Cafė

September 13, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

Join Interwoven artist/spiritual chaplain Ellie Douglass and artist/weaver Moonbeam Gardebring in a supportive, open discussion on the topic of death.

A Death Cafe is a group discussion and safe place to come together and talk about death, developed by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas for a cafe mortel first organized in 2004 by Bernard Crettaz. The intention isto increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.”

The Interwoven Death Cafė will be held outside in Central Park across the street from the Arbor Institute with social distancing precautions. Meet up in front of the Arbor Institute at 1708 13th St, Boulder, CO.

Masks are required. Please feel free to bring a snack or beverage for yourself. Seating will be provided though you are welcome to bring your own cushion/ground pad or chair.

RSVP is required as attendance is limited to 8 people – see below to register.

We are exploring options to add additional Death Cafės on other dates, including a virtual option.
